“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
― Maya Angelou, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

For the first post to the "Writer's Corner" I'll keep it simple, though this advice is crucial. This Quote by Maya Angelou explains my life completely. From a small child, to the grown one I am today, I bear inside me stories of my past, present and anxieties of the future to come. Now this not a story. In fact, this entire page of the website isn't for stories, but for tips and sharing of thoughts that will hopefully inspire ideas in others. After all, being a part of a writing community largely entails of the free flow exchange of not ont only work but ideas and perceptions. And with that being said my  first bit of advice to any young writer like myself is simple...just write. Fear not what other's may think for the writer must write for oneself. The minute a writer begins to create for fame or cater to a trend is the minute one is no longer a writer. Create with originality, passion, and discipline and all else will follow. There comes a time where every artist fears the canvas and doubts the beauty of merely the idea of the painting yet to come. But today I challenge you to stroke your brush, even if you only manage to create a few sentences. Then I challenge you to do the same every day after that. For the story never told, isn't a story at all.
